Brief
Booths Supermarket are a longstanding regional retailer focusing on delivering amazing creative and quality driven experience's in F&B. Powerhouse have worked with Booths to position their brand for national digital growth for over 2 years.
With their festive campaign they wanted to expand on these national ambitions with their 'narrative' festive campaign.
we supported on a partnership basis helping Booths create and deliver upon the campaign:
"The Magic of Christmas"
Challenge
Booths are a regional retailer will a heavy focus on quality produce, with a defined heritage in the North. The Campaign creative strategy needed to response to their routes while expanding the visual narrative to a national audience.
We focused on emphasising the "magic" in the festive period. The Brands' creative identity over that year featured a snow globe. So this inspired the campaign.
We created a series of snow globes for the Booths stores, and used the globe as the central magical message between the kids and the story.
Santa lives in the snow globes, and is only away for that one day a year! We used custom stop motion rigs, and VFX to create the snow globe scenes.
All other content was captured between two of their busiest stores, and featured a hybrid crew of creatives, VFX, and production operators.

The campaign was the first of its kind for Booths, exploring the narrative and emotional side of the festive season - what amazing results.
